Solid Foundations started at a park. Our founder, Gilbert Regalado, had a failed attempt in using his former business to create culture. He offered his crew hours pay to get a workout. After the third day, no one showed up. During this time, he and his wife invited the community to work out with them. The majority of them were parents bringing their children. It grew to be a passion they didn't think they had.
Parents were looking for ways to keep their kid busy while building confidence. The workouts turned into boxing workouts. They realized the children needed more than just a workout. They wanted to build SOLID VALUES. Self-confident children turn into productive contributing adults. Solids belief is that these values can help a child get through the tough times in their transition from child to teen. That is where Solid Foundations was born.
This was a way for them and our community to invest in the youth.
Solid is dedicated more than ever to their mission. They have grown to provide additional classes to our community. They now provide a Women Self-defense and Adult JiuJitsu classes.
